The M601 and M615 both say WM3 on the military id tag. I have seen those numbers you are referring to in the supplemental info from 1970 or 1971? I can't look at it though because I have all that stuff packed away right now. Also that is the first time the winch showed up in any of the M601 books. I have never seen one with a winch.
