I have been taking care of some little things on the truck. Added the headlight guards. Mounted the pioneer rack. Looking for used tools at "antique" shops and country stores once we can travel again. Fixed the large tool chest that was in my truck when I bought it and made some blocks so it wouldn't slide around. The jack, tire tools, etc fit with plenty of room to spare. Removed my tires and installed them on combat rims and added the Tyre Beads. Installing the vent lever spring. The one I bought over a year ago was too long. cut it down and a different one is on its way from Amazon. Need to remove the windshield crank assembly as it is spinning free now, I've been procrastinating because working under there is a pain in the neck/back. After I will try to repair the original temp gauge. I did it once by adding a bulb from a new one and it worked. Then I shorted the battery to the spring coil that surrounds the tube and it failed sometime later. I hate repeating things but my anger at myself has cooled. That happened 2 years ago. Last the materials place said they would weigh the truck for free.
