C38126 is the # on the trans. i have both styles of PTO units.. when i drained it took out the floor and unbolted the trans so i could turn it counter clockwise to have room for install they were straight gears.. its a hodge page of parts i believe. i wish i had a inspection plate to see the gears as normal ones do.. i have set the backlash on newer ones before but i like to at least see it..
