Last time I checked there was two tires that came in a metric size that were close to the same size as a 9.00X16 tire. One was the "Coyote" tire made by Denmen. If I remember right the tread pattern wasn't to aggressive, more of a highway tire. The other is the XML made by Michelin that comes in a 325X85R16 size and has a tread pattern similar to the XL's. Only thing about this tire is that according to the spec.s, it requires a wheel that's wider than 6.5 inches, so I don't know if these tires will fit on 9.00X6.5 inch wheels. Robert
