I have a 77' M-886 Ambulance, the two things to really watch for is #1 the front wheel bearings need to be greased at least once a year ( you just remove the front wheels, turn the rotor until the hole lines up with the zerk & use a grease gun with a straight tip to get at it , this front axle is known to eat wheel bearings if not maintained)also the transfer case uses 30 weight non-detergant, & you really need to pay attention to the electrical system, my friends & I (5 880's total) have found that dodge didnt ground the chassis, motor & frame properly) this in turn creates a lot of load on the ammeter(10 guage wire from battery hot on relay that runs over to the alternator through the dash) the best thing to do is install a 30amp inline fuse before the ammeter before the unit fails & melts the main charging circuit ( sucks when your in the middle of no-where!).
