There’s absolutely no way to tell the extent of damage or even if there is any. My boss did this & it required a complete engine replacement. The Def had destroyed the engine. It’s safe to assume there’s likely some damage to the steel parts in the injection pump & lift pump. How long will they continue to operate for? Maybe as long as if it never happened & on the other hand they may pack in tomorrow. That’s the problem, there’s just no way to tell.
Honest...I’d forget about it & just hope that you caught it soon enough that it didn’t damage anything to the point it’s going to fail. Def does not affect aluminum or plastic/rubber I’m told. Keep flushing it...for sure.
