I did headers and dual to no advantage. But then adding a 2bbl gained me 20%- 60hp to the ground, up from 50.
I had built myoen intake woth long equal length tubes, and went with the CarterBBL form a 318. But I suspect the big Mono-jet form a Jeep or GM 6 would be easier, and as good. Or a Holley from a ford or /6.
I'm running Michelin 1100, & 5.89s.It'll do 60 on the flats and keep up with loaded semis on the hills.I don't know that you need both 40s and 4.90s.That might be more overdrive than the horse power can handle.
