How is the P7100 pump drive engaged in the gear? Is it a straight up tapered shaft, or is it keyed like the VP44's? This engine is supposedly a relatively low mileage unit with about 150k. Came out of a 94 3500 that had a rotted frame according to my buddy. It is pretty clean but there was definitely some seepage around the timing gear covers that I am going to address when I check the KDP. While I have it sitting on the floor I might as well put in a new tappet cover gasket as well. My motivation has been kicked up a notch all of a sudden!! Going to have to move the mounts back about 10" in my frame to get this behemoth to fit under the hood!
