My guess is it's piston blow-by. We have a PCV circuit with a check valve to stop the intake manifold pressure from backfeeding into the crankcase, but we're finding that the breather from the air filter to the oil filler is spewing a little oil into the air filter. Not sure what to do about that yet. Another check valve? But then it will pressurize other areas. The real solution is to stop the blow-by.
