Pretty common now. Seems like most of the new houses we’re building now have elevators. That’s an expense I can do without. The other crazy thing in these houses is all the low voltage computerized lighting systems we install now. I tell you...we just built a new house with over 200 low voltage drivers. You have to see the electrical room...the amount of wiring is insane & at least 10 of the drivers had to be replaced just within the time we were working on the house.
What’s wrong with a good old fashioned 1915 push button switch I say?
