I removed a wheel then placed the offending wheel and tire under the exposed brake drum and let down the truck so the brake drum (sometimes with a piece of wood) would push the tire down at the bead. Surprisingly the cheap harbor freight split ring pry bar worked better than the Ken tool bar to start the ring out. I like Vaughn's method. Why didn't I think of that!
