So to follow up on my use of several different years of vehicles to make one finished truck.
The original FFPW was a 1951 farmerized vehicle in Arizona with a flatbed and a front boom, gifted to me. This truck was in very bad shape with a twisted and bent frame and rotted out cab. I was able to use the drive train from that truck. I found a 1949 frame in Idaho that was useable (thanks Glen Baldwin). I found a 1954 FFPW in Utah with a fair cab. I found a 1955 bed in Arizona (thanks Clark Cameron).
Over the past 5 years I was able to put them all together, with a lot of new parts and pieces I have purchased from many vendors listed on this site.
I am in the process of getting a title from the State of Utah. It will be titled using the frame number from the 1949 frame. It will be titled as a Reconstructed Vehicle. Utah DMV required photos from start to finish, all receipts for parts and work done. I will have to pay the sale taxes on all parts purchased out of state that did not have taxes charged originally.
