The block casting number if it is 1400229-?? It's 1951 through the 1960s. There might be more numbers below the distributor and breather. Clean that area well. If the block number and head number go together I'd guess it is a 1951-1953. Does it have the telltale nail near the stamped pad showing where the replaemgine tag once hung?
