The screw in front of the two insulated terminals is a ground connection. It was put there to mount a radio filter capacitor that connected to the “A” terminal.
You shouldnt need to use this terminal at all, because the generator is well grounded by mounting it to the engine by steel brackets and adjuster bracket.
