T stat housing

So here�s where I�m confused....
My 57 had a rusted out stamped steel Tstat housing...that�s all I�ve ever seen on them.
Then there�s this one that Steve posted below here....I thought this was correct?
Then there�s the one Vaughn posted below that�s the same as WDX but without the bypass nub...what up?
