How much master cylinder piston (Rod) travel are you getting?

Perhaps the leverage positions isn't allowing you to move the master cylinder piston far enough?

On my 318/NP435 my master is a Wilwood 1" bore (slave is '68 stock Dodge) and it takes some fine adjustment to get tit to travel properly.
