Look for a clutch slave with a smaller diameter. I fought the same problem with my clutch in the Carryall. First is to use as oem style slave cylinder. They come in different bore diameters. The slave cylinder, if I remember correctly, should have a smaller diameter than the master. You just need to find the right combination.
