I have a truck with an NHC 250. It runs fine, is maybe just a touch down on power, and stalls occasionally. It only stalls out when idling and only at a certain angle. 2 minutes is the "golden" time to let it sit before it fires right back up. Right now there is 40+ gallons of fuel in the tank so I wanted to see if there were any ideas before I tear into it.
Reman PT pump about 3 years ago. Maybe 1000 miles since and probably 100-150 hours. It is a fire truck to it gets just enough warm up time to get the air up before it's full throttle. There is some seepage but it looks to be all over the PT housing and it does not drip. Filter changed yearly and no visible leaking. It has been run through the entire range of fuel tank capacity and I pulled the pickup to check for rust holes before the pump was replaced since it was stalling at that time. Also cleared and checked for blocked return/tank vent lines at that time. The fuel supply hose was replaced with the pump.
I would be appreciative of any advice. Feel free to email off forum.
Thanks.
