I think I'd be a little leary of those taper headed bolts not having the correct taper. It's not going to seat evenly and might put a lot of uneven pressure on that housing hole. Being cast iron, could easily crack it, those are pretty critical to keep that housing aligned. Might not be able to keep them tight either.
