Something is drawing 0.3A (6V) on my 49 FFPW with the key in the "off" position. When I turn the key "on" I am getting a 4A power draw.

I was expecting to see 0V with the key off.

What is drawing power when I switch the key on, ignition coil? capacitor in the distributor? something else?

The wiring is original except for a small section near the tail light.
