Trico wiper lubrication

A few years ago I had the vacuum wipers rebuilt at Trico. The passemger side works well, but the drivers side is slowing down.

I have read that some peope use brake fluid while others have used automatic trans fluid the internal components.

Has anyone had any luck with either of these or anything else?
