These old electro/mechanical all operate in basically the same fashion. This is a link to a write up I did on a Corvette C4 horn. This horn is really not any different from the PW horn or a old Ford Horn. I give a description on what happens inside the horn when power is applied. Armed with this, unless you have serious rust damage, you can fix it quickly.
