Hi Joe - original forged crank, balanced, close to square bore/stroke, no siamesed cylinders, compression ratio can easily be boosted to what suits the available gas, an after-market performance cam will also allow stronger or double valve springs, dual or triple carbs and a good flowing exhaust, then get the distributor strobed and advance curve adjusted to suit - all good simple stuff and it will run 4000 all day.
