Way too light of a trailer. Minimum 10K with 16” tires. I would suggest 12K as being better. As said earlier your 7K trailer can only haul about 5K at best.
Either the experiences of hauling my PW around the country I would recommend a 12K trailer with 16” 8 lug wheels and G rated light truck radial tires. There is a lot of information on the web that people seem to have a lot of problems with ST rated trailer tires which most often come out of China. Once they switched to light truck tires they have a lot less problems.
I fully agree with going with the light truck G rated tires. I have been running them on a heavy trailer and have zero problems while the ST trailer tires constantly gave me problems. I have not changed the that I maintain or monitor my tires but I sure have a lot less problems.
