3 things-
--1 I myself have purchased things from E-Bay. When I surf through E-bay I look at items in 2 ways: 1-if I don't dispratly need the item I drop out early and wait for the next time an item like that comes up. I have gotten many items for my firetruck dirt cheap compared to what someone paid a week earlier. 2-I need that Item or the truck don't move. Then I'll pay what I have to. I do the same thing here, I appreciate that the individuals offer Items to us, If I need it and want to pay said amount I buy it, If I don't NEED it right now and/or want to pay said amount I'll pass and take my chances later on finding it later.
--2 I have looked at Doug's Auctions and He doesn't hide anything, the pictures show incomplete trucks, his discriptions state to what extent the trucks are incomplete. I like the fact that guys point out Items that are on E-bay because It points out items I may have missed.
--3 This forum and Big Electric have been great tools for my Army truck. Thanks to these guys who operate these sites.
