Now that a couple months have gone by since I replaced the stock 360 4V, with a new 300 horse mopar crate motor. Sum it up is I'm well pleased. Over all not a bad swap out. Just needed to modify the alternator bracket, cut 1 inch off the pilot shaft of the 4 speed, and ordered the pilot shaft bearing from mopar performance. Installed a electric fuel pump. New edelbrock 750cfm, and 2 1/4 exhaust/w shorty headers, delta flow flowmasters. The truck has great torque and pulls very hard off the line. Running 265X16 tires, and it isn't hard to break them lose. Almost turn key, great option.
