I've built many. The manufacturers seem to come and go. The Biggest, Pascoe and Butler have merged or gone out of business. Basically they are pretty much the same no matter who you use. The main difference is the siding style and profile. Stay away from lighter 28-26 ga. siding if at all possible, use 24 to 22 ga. for the best durability. That may not be possible in some of the "economy" package deals, but you can use that for comparison. If you have two bidders using different gauges, go with the best price that uses the heaviest ga. siding. If you are in snow country, compare the eaves and roof closures details for the best weather proofing.
