If you drive yours everyday, try this: When you shut ot off for the night pull the choke all the way out. I dont know what it does, there are many theories, but It always starts easier for me in the morning. When I do go to start, I put slight pressure on the gas pedal while I'm on the starter. When it fires, immediatly off the starter and 1/2 choke, feather the gas up. wait untill it runs decent with no choke before driving off. It takes a little while but that's the beauty of driving a vintage truck!
