A Red Hawk is a Ruger Double action (more modern style) revolver. They are mighty fine guns. Id recommend one to you in a red hot minute! Great quality and Craftsmanship, they look good, and shoot great. Personally myself, I prefer single action, and I would go for a Ruger Super Blackhawk in .44 Mag with a 8 inch barrel.
