Art,
The cabs will bolt up and have the same dimensions ...but... they have a few differences. I'm assuming your talking about '41 4x4 1/2 tons. The floor configuration and firewall are different. The panel below the door and around the back of the cab is longer on the WC. The place where the hood meets the cab has more of a slope on the WC and I believe the place where the hood support bars bolt to the cab is on a slighly different angle. True military cabs will have a screen and/or 4 indented holes to mount it on the rear cab window(window in front of the bed). Doors will bolt exchange but the windows have differences. On the 215 series dash guages were all round like this: oo0oo
If there are any of the 215 series cabs I wouldn't cut it up because of the rarity of it. You could probably sell the cabs or find someone to trade for what you really want and save some work and have 2 people happy. Just a thought, If you have any more ?'s I'll answer if I know.
Most times open cab military were converted to closed cabs by using a '39-'47 Civy Dodge truck. Easy to tell as there will be a gas filler hole behind the drivers door. Militarys had the filler behind the rear wheel.Kevin
