I have climbed to the next rung of the PW ladder of life I have so fondly heard described here on this forum over and over (usually falling down a rung or two - it's all perception) I'll be picking up my "parts" flatfender this weekend and flatbedding it back to San Mateo. Once I get the bed off & on to my B-4-PW I will re-evaluate to see if the rest of the truck can be made whole again or destined to go piece by piece to the needy or up in the attic? I will consider it temporarily (less than 10 years) my $1.5k roll-away (a win-win cause I'm finally getting a normal looking bed for my 53 FlatFender and MUCH better than the price of a Snap-on lower box) and I have no doubt in a matter of weeks there will be open & box end craftsman wrenches sitting on the fenders and the floorboards will be covered with miscellaneous parts & supplies. What will you be doing between 5AM and 8AM Christmas morning?... yep, you guessed it... in the garage :) Damn Fever... Guess I gotta drink lots of fluids till it breaks :)
Mike, you're coming to Hollister in April, aren't you? Can you make it to San Mateo mid January for a pre-Hollister study group meeting. We're gonna meet & study how to pull this thing off in April :) Need ya!
Merry Christmas!
