I believe on the last Forum you asked me for some thickness dimensions on the spring plates?

I find no differences between those on my '47 and on my '51. They measure:

Fronts - 1-1/8 inches thick at U-bolt holes

Rears - 7/8 inches thick at U-bolt holes

Here is where it gets interesting. If you have the special plates required for rear shock absorbers, they differ:

13/16 inch thick are rear holes and 1-1/2 thick at front holes.
