Ok, after seeing your post, I rebooted my phone. No difference. I tried to check for updates and I got a message saying my phone couldn't be authenticated. I bought the phone through Verizon, then later switched to Cricket. Ever since then, I've occasionally gotten a message saying my phone's sim card is not from Verizon. I think Verizon is still trying to send me updates, but can't because the sim card is from Cricket. The last update was August of 2018, about the time we switched from Verizon to Cricket. So maybe you're right and that is the issue. Having said that, the problem seemed to show up about the time the forum format was changed, and I haven't had problems on any other website...so far.
