Yeah, I've thought about that kind of thing too. I've heard of so many tech companies offering free food and even bringing out the margaritas or beers after noon on Fridays and I realize they're doing that as part of building a certain culture. The young folks will stay 14 hours a day the rest of week and will work weekends without being paid overtime because of the culture that has been established to entice them into it.
