Nothing else has worked. Resistor continuity tests good with my fancy meter; the old one failed. Still won't stay running. I bypassed the resistor with jumper wires. Same thing. I put in the old ignition module. Still fails.

Closest new ballast resistor is 60 miles away and I'm dead in the snow..
