I have been buying recon batteries from the interstate warehouses for 30 years and never had one fail on me. Where i live the weather is not demanding on batteries though. 8 plus years is common. I always ask for recons because they only cost about 30 bucks. larger batteries like 8D for a command car or carryall are more of course.
