9 ft in Mammouth Ca - ski area closed. Had winds in Jan 23 Bend Or area-- many trees down 6 on my lot gave up the ghost. 6 inches and a cold week for the West Coast --- Seattle had 6 inches -- when you watch a tall tree move back and forth 20 ft side to side they start to break off - and yes they do make a noise
