As much as I love Cummins engines my 2012 has had the entire front end rebuilt with just 65000 miles on a truck that was my personal ride. Other than hauling a dump trailer or boat trailer it has never been used commercially. I am now at the stage where the EGRV trips the engine light every couple of months. I never had one issue with my 12v 5.9 Cummins but like Manny stated the rest of the truck simply rusted away.
No more "new" trucks for me either.
