Bravo for using rivets, I think it's the right way to go. I'd love to see the rivet sets you made. I need to find/borrow/make some to set a couple rivets on my 6x6 frame.

I would rather have rivets holding my frame together than bolts. Like Bruce said, the rivet swells to fill the hole, which locks the pieces together permanently. They will never come loose, and they are tougher than Grade 8 bolts. Let us know how the project goes!
