they are still being produced. so they must sell enough to keep making them. if you want easy starting in allweather, flawless performance and points that almost never wear out they are a must. even off by 4 or 5 degrees will cause premature point failure. those who dont use one tend to be the guys who are always having to file points and mess with timing.
