I dont know the HP rating but its an industrial motor. I have never seen a chrysler flathead war time or other with cast iron pistons. i have seen them in GM stuff but not mopar. I think mopar went aluminum on everything in the 30s and never looked back. They were kind of ahead of everyone else in that area. aluminum wont wear the cylinder walls out as fast as the iron ones do
