when you hit full throttle, like you said, vacuum goes to nothing.
so the distributor, if equipped with a vacuum advance, looses all vacuum to the distributor vaccumn module. right?

isn't that what happens with NO VACCUM present? the ignition timing gets ADVANCED?
well then, if that is true, then with a MECHANICAL WEIGHTED advance system, on a long pull, or hill, the RPMS actually lessen, and then what goes on with the distributor and timing?
It remains about the same, only RPM driven
so when I REV up a motor with a mechanical weighted distro, the timing does what? advance? Not sure..
just asking. because I found originally in the archives the above statements made by others years ago on this subject.
or Im reading it all wrong (entirely possible.. Not the best mechanical out there Im afraid!)
