Here is what I started with!
Leon tipped me off about this truck back in 2011.
I eventually took a break from the M37 project and disassembled the W500. I had it blasted then painted the frame, axles and wheels, etc.
Got tires from Bill S. Got an engine from Mike Hernke and had it rebuilt. Then I hauled it out to Ron, along with a spare cab. Ron ended up using 3 cabs to make one good one.
The color is a stock combination from 1960, Omaha Orange and Sand Dune White.
