But, not to go off on world conditions, but to say I'm glad you were there for the ones who needed help. When I was in my early 20s, a bunch of us were in Baja and something similar happened to 3 of my friends. Only difference is we were all strong swimmers/surfers, and they were able to just circle around out of the current and come back in. But still pretty scary. If the number were known that the ocean has taken, it would be staggering to say the least. Meanwhile, in northern Idaho, it's 45 degrees, windy, cloudy, and cold. Lots to do before winter gets here for real. Firewood, hook up the snow plow, clean up the maple leaves, plant next year's garlic crop, dry the prunes.
