For those of you who use an aftermarket fuse block (mine is a painless) how do you wire the AMP, temperature, and fuel gauge? I'm fairly sure I need to install a volt reducer for those gauges but not sure how to get power. I currently have main power from regulator going to fuse block. The individual "gauge and IGN" circuit wires come off fuse block and to each respected gauge. Do I still pull off ignition switch to power the gauges? This is on a 12v neg ground 56 C3-PW. None of the gauges are reading squat. Thanks. Andy.
Also, I had a problem where the truck was bogging down in 3rd gear but was timed/tuned perfect. Turns out I had very low battery voltage (not fully charged after accidental discharge (left lights on)) so electric fuel pump wasnt pushing enough fuel. That was a "duh" moment. Hopefully the gauge wiring has a happy ending as well.
