You pumped air in the lines. When you pump the pedal after filling an empty MC, air is in the lines along with fluid you're pumping in. You still have air in the lines compressing then expanding causing air to pushing fluid out. Continue to bleed until you get all the air out. For the wheel yo lock, you probably have a bad WC.
