What Mopar did in 1945-46 is use the 8&3/4” 4 pinion 3/4 ton WC third member in all their 1 ton and later 3/4 ton 57-59 trucks . The difference being the mounting stud Diam. on the postwar unit is 7/16” instead of the 3/8” of the 1/2 and early 3/4 ton WC’s along with the side gear spline count change.
