Seen it more than once. Prescribe everything to cover your butt.
My dad had an aneurism. They drugged him up on who knows what. He was so bad they had us come in to "Say goodbye, pretty soon his heart is going to shut down". My older sister told them.
"Since he's dying now. Take him off all the drugs." Took some pushing, but they took him off the drugs. He suddenly had this amazing bounce back to health. Managed to live another 18 years and even get his driver's license back. (Although it was terrifying to ride with him. His brain was scrambled up a bit.)
Good on ya' for getting on the road to recovery! Sometimes its a tough road to find!
