Well so much for solving my lung problems. Got all plugged up bad from meds and had to go to the hospital 2 days ago. They did a Ultra Sound on my abdomen and my luck just ran out. They found a mass on my right Kidney about the size of a quarter! So things sure got messed up fast cause it was not there in Jan when they did a MRI? My blood tests are showing failing kidneys and they should have caught this sooner because the blood tests were getting worse each time? I have been having pains down there and they were running tests to find out why. I just thought it was my Stones moving. So now there setting me up for a CT Scan with dye to find out if it is solid tumor or large hollow cyst? I already have 2 small cysts on both they saw but said no big deal. Both kidneys have stones in them and the left one has a broke up 12mm stone that I was going to let them cut it out. So my little world smacked me a good one to deal with. Guess I will find out if it is benign or malignant after the CT is done.
I spent the last 2 days learning all I could about treatment plans and non of them are good. Ether way something will need to be done and the only good thing is it is in my small kidney. If it is kidney cancer the life span is around 5 years caught early so it will give me time to still do stuff in my Long Bucket List! If I skate on this one I will be the luckiest guy around. Over the years I have had several loved ones go with cancer and I always said that won't be me going out slow if I know how it ends! So this is going to test me in figuring out my life. I am not going with out a good fight but this is sure hard on the mind when you have a wife and daughter that has to deal with it also. Sure glad the home is paid for and my daughter is doing great in her business. My medical is 100% paid for by the VA so that is not a issue. Dam I hope they just screwed up that Ultra Sound some way to show something that is not there!! That happen on my lungs and scared the crap out of me, the second x-ray showed nothing it was gone? My Doctor said lets just wait and see, till then we still need to adjust your back again to breath better so I am hurting now cause that big guy can twist this little body all up! Tomorrow it will feel a lot better you know No Pain No Gain! Pretty pissed off at this point! Mark
