Beginning in 1950, the State of Massachusetts converted its fleet of wildland fire engines to the Dodge Power Wagon. This 1958 photograph captures the Power Wagon fitted with a PTO winch, 200 gallon water tank, 3,000 feet of forestry hose, assorted hand tools, water cans, and mobile radio.
